Nahid Y. Vidal, M.D., FAAD, FACMS, is a Mohs surgeon with subspecialty expertise in skin cancer treatment and complex facial reconstruction. She completed her undergraduate at Stanford University, medical school at University California Davis School of Medicine, Dermatology Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic (Rochester). Dr. Vidal serves as Chair for the Division of the Dermatologic Surgery and participates in national committees for the American College of Mohs Surgery. As the former Director of Resident Dermatologic Surgery Education, she is heavily involved in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Vidal is also a principal investigator for several clinical studies pertaining to skin cancer and dermatologic surgery, with special interests including rare and complex cutaneous tumors, immunohistochemistry for Mohs surgery, innovation in education, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Vidal is a Board-certified Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology, and Board-certified in the subspecialty of Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
