Dr. Hadley Wyre, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Urology, who joined our faculty in July 2014, after completing a two year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship with our Department under the direction of Dr. Jeff Holzbeierlein and the remaining oncology faculty. Dr. Wyre earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed both a urology residency and fellowship in Trauma / Reconstructive Urology from Emery University as well.
Dr. Wyre sees patients at The University of Kansas Cancer Center - South, located in Kansas City, MO and in our clinic located in the Medical Office Building at The University of Kansas Hospital, in Kansas City, KS. His clinical practice focuses on urologic oncology, trauma and reconstruction. He specializes in bladder, kidney, testis, and penile cancers. He also has interests in urinary diversion, urinary fistulas and radiation complications from oncologic treatments requiring surgical intervention, such as the revision of urinary diversions and the repair of urinary fistulas.
Dr. Wyre's clinical practice is focused on Urologic Oncology, Urologic Trauma, Reconstructive Surgery, Bladder Cancer, and Kidney Cancer. Dr. Wyre's specialties include Bladder Surgery, Kidney Surgery, Oncological Surgery, Oncology, and Penile Surgery.
